    ‘BALIK RAYA’ FROM TRIO ROCKETFUEL ENTERTAINMENT TO HYPE UP YOUR EID CELEBRATIONS

    Wani Kayrie, Indah Ruhaila, and Nadeera, three of Rocketfuel Entertainment’s top female singers have teamed up to perform Rushdan’s wonderful “BALIK RAYA,” an Eid song.

    The pop Eid number, a classic with a temporary twist, took about two months to produce through three separate recording processes for each of the artists involved, which later was merged into a complete song.

    In conjunction with the Hari Raya celebration and launch of BALIK RAYA music video (MV) held at Centre Court, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Rocketfuel Entertainment hosted a special viewing and iftar session with friends from the media.

    According to Wani Kayrie, no matter how busy we are in our daily lives, as the festive season approaches, one thing for sure, a return to your hometown is a must to be with family, “Working 24/7 in the entertainment industry is no excuse not to go back to your hometown, and when Eid arrives I will always make time to fly back to Sandakan, Sabah, to be reunited with my loved ones.

    “BALIK RAYA isn’t just about returning to your hometowns, it’s more than that, and as Muslims, we only celebrate it once a year. Why not seize this opportunity to strengthen family ties, cherish our time together, seek happiness in simplicity, and appreciate our loved ones, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, where some may have lost family members.

    For Indah Ruhaila, the latest addition to the Rocketfuel Entertainment family, her experience during the filming of BALIK RAYA MV is something that shall remain unforgettable forever, “Imagine filming an MV for 24-hours straight! But in the end we managed to wrap it at 5 am. Filming took place in Sekinchan and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

    “Wani and I even choreographed our ‘impromptu’ dance routine that we hope will go viral as a ‘dance challenge’.

    Indah also shared one of her experiences during Ramadan at a bazaar when she was only 15, “What an experience it was! I used to help my family to sell food throughout the fasting month, and even though it rained sometimes and the water level would rise, we continued to run our business and the whole experience is just priceless! Apart from meeting with relatives and getting together with your loved ones on that special day.

    For newcomer Nadeera, recording her first ever Eid song is truly an unforgettable moment, “Alhamdulillah, I’m just grateful and over the moon to be part of this special project together with other great female singers like Wani Kayrie and Indah Ruhaila.

    “As a new artist, this coming Eid is special because I’ve never received any greetings from fans, and this will be the first of many more to come, apart from celebrating with family and friends, normally we just keep it simple and within family.

    Mr. Prem Anand, Head of Rocketfuel Entertainment, commented, “Just like the previous years, Rocketfuel will always come up with a few Raya songs to hype up the holy month of Ramadan,  and for this year we bring you three of our top female singers in one song.

    “I expect this song will be a new ‘favorite’ during the festive season and continues to be listened to every year by everyone.

  • 9 Penyanyi Lagenda Rock Disatukan dalam Konsert Lagenda Rock Berzaman

    Untuk kali pertama dalam sejarah, penggemar tegar rock dari era 1990-an mempunyai kesempatan untuk menikmati persembahan sembilan penyanyi legenda tanah air dalam Konsert Rock Lagend Berzaman.

    Bertempat di Megastar Arena gabungan 9 lagenda rock tanah air telah beraksi di atas satu pentas yang cukup luar biasa dan berjaya mengumpukan seramai 3,000 peminat untuk hadir menyaksikan persembahan yang pasti mengembalikan nostalgia pada setiap penonton yang hadir.

    Pihak penganjur RAR Sky Entertainment, telah berjaya membawa barisan penyanyi yang hebat dan mempunyai Aura yang tersendiri, setiap persembahan mendapat sorakan yang begitu gemuruh sehingga gamat seluruh Arena Megastar. Sembilan penyanyi ini telah mempersembahkan sebanyak 30 set lagu yang hebat yang pernah mencipta nostalgia dan telah meriahkan industri muzik tanah air berzaman.

    Ketika ditanya mengenai kriteria pemilihan barisan penyanyi, Pengurus RAR Sky Entertainment iaitu Muhammad Iskandar Ali memaklumkan bahawa pemilihan penyanyi dibuat mengikut permintaan usahawan popular, Kak KM atau nama sebenarnya Liana Rosli yang bertindak sebagai penaja bagi konsert tersebut.

    Menurut Kak KM, minat mendalam terhadap lagu rock kapak serta band rock yang popular era 1980-an dan 1990-an mencetuskan idea penglibatan dan pemilihan penyanyi konsert berkenaan.

    “Saya sememangnya peminat tegar bagi lagu-lagu bergenre rock jiwang dan ‘tangkap leleh’ malah sering mendengar lagu-lagu tersebut sewaktu memasak di dapur setiap pagi” katanya.

    Sembilan barisan penyanyi legenda yang telah membuat persembahan pada hari itu adalah Azan Scan, Poey Sting, Hazama, Shidi Data, Ameng Spring, Amir UK’s, Ezad Lazim, Zamani Slam dan Mus May.

    Persembahan dibuka oleh Azan yang membuka dengan lagu ‘Disana Mawar dan Di Sini Penawar’ sekaligus membuat seluruh dewan berosoran dan turut menyanyi bersama. Seterusnya lagu ‘Yang kalut Difikirkan’ dan ‘Kau Dipaksa Aku Terpaksa’.

    Penyanyi kedua Poey mengambil alih pentas dengan tiga buah lagu iaitu, ‘Adakah kau setia’, ‘Dalam dian aku mencintaimu’, ‘Kau tetap kuhajati’. seterusnya Hazama mempersembahkan 3 buah lagu ‘Bukan ku tak sudi’, ‘Aduhai seribu kali sayang’ dan ‘Relakan jiwa’ yang membuatkan setiap penonton yang hadir menyanyi bersama.

    Giliran Shidi pula membuat persembahan dengan tiga buah lagu iaitu ‘Nyanyian rindu buat kekasih’, ‘Mengulit kenangan’ dan ‘Permaisuri’. Menyerahkan ‘baton’ kepada Ameng dengan lagunya ‘Cempaka di rembulan’, ‘Sejiwa’, ‘Butakah cinta dan ‘Romantis’.

    Amir dan Ezad telah mempersembahkan tiga buah lagu masing-masing iaitu ‘Seksa’, ‘Pahit akan manis akhirnya’, ‘Disana menanti disini menunggu’, ‘Seperti dulu’, ‘Masih teserlah ayumu, dan ‘Mengintai dari tirai kamar’ nyanyian mereka menyusuk terus ke jiwa pononton yang bangun dan bernyanyi bersama.

    Zamani mempersembahkan lagu ‘Kembali merindu’, ‘Tak mungkin berpaling’, ‘Nur kasih’ dan Gerimis Mengundang dan ahir sekali Mus dengan lagu ‘Sinar’, ‘Cintamu mekar dihati’ dan ‘Sendiri’. Buat penutup persembahan kesemua 9 penyanyi telah keluar dan mendendangkan lagu Srikandi Cintaku.

    Pastinya setiap barisan penyanyi mendapat sorakan yang gemuruh dan berjaya mengambalikan nostalgia mana tidaknya setiap penonton yang hadir pulang dengan senyuman pada setiap riak wajah mereka.

    Bagi pihak penganjur, mereka terharu akhirnya konsert ini berjaya dan telah mencatat sejarahnya yang tersendiri.

    “Saya amat gembira dengan kejayaan konsert malam ini dan ini merupakan permulaan saya mencuba dalam perniagaan baru.

    “Kami cukup teruja malah diharapkan konsert ini mengubat kerinduan semua peminat muzik rock tanah air.

    “Walaupun agak sukar untuk menghimpan sembilan legenda rock terkenal tanah air di atas satu pentas, kami berjaya melakukan dengan cemerlang dan berharap agar konsert ini akan menjadi kenangan indah buat penonton,” ujar Nona.

  • RADi’s “Falling For You” Reflects the Evolution of Love and Emotion

    RADi, a promising new artist, has released his latest single “Falling For You,” which he describes as a progression from his previous hit “Maybe,” with a focus on technical aspects and the inclusion of more instruments.

    “This song actually is a continuation of Maybe, almost everything is similar, just elevated in terms of composition and production process. Maybe focuses more on the vocals, while this song has more instruments and we spend more time on producing it. We include more instruments, drums and backing vocals as well”

    Falling For You, as the name suggested is a direct continuation of RADi’s previous song Maybe. The story goes from doubting whether she’s the one to she is the one. RADi started recording the demo on February and completed the song at the end of December. Working together with his previous producer Zain, He stated that this song should have the same mood as the previous one. This time around, Kenny Macartney, another producer also joined on board in completing the song which only took around one week.

    “I would describe Falling For You as a continuation of Maybe, the following episode of what happens after the song. It progresses from “maybe its you” to “falling for you.” This song is an affirmation of earlier feelings. This song began three days after I submitted Maybe; I held on to the demo and the feelings from February to December of last year before informing my producer and friend, Zain, that the vibe should be similar. This time, we have Kenny Macartney, a producer for other artists such as Yuna and Aizat Amdan. We finished the tune within about a week.

    According to the young singer, the only problem in finishing the song was to capture the same spirit as Maybe. Zain and Kenny, who are involved in the song production, have also helped them complete the project in one week. They readily discussed ideas and inputs during the session, allowing the song to be completed quickly.

    “For me, I would say no challenges in finishing the song. Zain and Kenny were so supportive and open to new ideas making it easier for me. If i were to name one, it would be in getting the same mood as Maybe because the final session was done months after recording the demo. On that week, we started off on Monday, took a two days break, and finished up straight to Sunday”

    RADi, an artist under Sony Music Entertainment, hope that the listeners will keep on to support him with his current release, which he thoroughly enjoyed and worked hard on. He opted to pursue the same way as the previous release because they expressed great interest in the prior song.

    “For now, the song that the listener placed most interest in is on Maybe, hence why i decided to continue with the same direction. The listeners seemed to enjoy my previous song so much, i wish they will carry on similar support for my latest release as i am doing this for them”

    “I sincerely hope that everyone will love this song especially when I created it based on my listeners’ interest. This song may feel close to everyone that is in love. Please cherish the feelings and stay in love.” he sincerely concluded.
