The HONOR 400 Series Unveils Groundbreaking AI Image-to-Video Capability Powered by Google Cloud AI

HONOR 400 Series Launches in Malaysia with Industry-Leading AI Image-to-Video Technology Powered by Google Cloud AI. Global technology brand HONOR has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone line, the HONOR 400 Series, in Malaysia, scheduled for 22 May 2025. Since its local preview last week, the series has generated buzz on social media, especially for its groundbreaking Next-Gen AI Imaging features. At the heart of this innovation is the industry’s first AI Image-to-Video technology built in collaboration with Google Cloud AI. This new feature enables users to effortlessly create engaging short videos from still images—be it real-life photos, old family portraits, or even artwork—directly from their photo gallery without the need for third-party apps. It’s a leap forward in mobile creativity, offering users both convenience and emotional resonance.

The HONOR 400 Series combines this advanced AI capability with powerful camera hardware, aiming to be the top AI camera phone in its segment. Both the HONOR 400 and 400 Pro models feature a 200MP main camera with a large 1/1.4-inch super sensor, delivering exceptional clarity and low-light performance. Optical and electronic image stabilization (OIS and EIS) further enhance the image quality. The 12MP Macro and Wide camera captures expansive scenes, while the 50MP AI Telephoto Camera—exclusive to the HONOR 400 Pro—offers up to 50x digital zoom. On the front, users can enjoy a 50MP Portrait Selfie Camera that delivers studio-quality results.

A standout feature, AI Image to Video, lets users animate static photos into five-second moving visuals, breathing new life into memories. HONOR demonstrated the emotional power of this feature through two heartfelt Mother’s Day videos. One tells the story of a daughter who used the HONOR 400 Pro to animate a childhood photo of her late mother, allowing her to see her mother’s smile once again. Another captures a father comforting his daughter by animating a treasured image of her with her deceased grandmother. These deeply personal moments highlight how HONOR’s AI not only enhances photography but also creates meaningful new ways to connect with the past.

Beyond image animation, the HONOR 400 Series introduces a suite of AI editing tools designed to elevate the mobile photography experience. AI Eraser 2.0 removes unwanted people and reflections from photos with precision. AI Cutout enables users to separate subjects from backgrounds, offering creative freedom to modify or replace scenery. AI Outpainting extends photo borders naturally, making it perfect for enhancing scenic shots or re-framing cropped images. With AI Upscale, even low-resolution or blurry images can be restored with clarity and detail. For fun, social sharing, the Moving Photo Collage feature allows the combination of multiple Live Photos into dynamic, customizable storyboards. Meanwhile, Harcourt Studio 2.0 brings studio-level portrait photography to the palm of your hand, simulating optical blur and offering six artistic film-style filters for a refined finish.

The official launch of the HONOR 400 Series will be livestreamed on 22 May 2025 at 3PM via HONOR Malaysia’s official Facebook page. For more information, visit www.honor.com/my. As HONOR continues its mission to bridge the AI ecosystem with human experience, the HONOR 400 Series sets a new benchmark for intelligent imaging, storytelling, and smartphone photography.

RMHC Malaysia and McDonald’s Malaysia Treat Underprivileged Children to a Special Movie Day Featuring the Minecraft Movie.

RMHC Malaysia and McDonald’s Malaysia Light Up Children’s Day with Special Minecraft Movie Experience. Ronald McDonald House Charities Malaysia (RMHC Malaysia), in collaboration with McDonald’s Malaysia, recently brought joy and excitement to over 160 underprivileged children through a special movie screening of A Minecraft Movie on 3 May 2025. Held at TGV Cinemas, Jaya Shopping Centre, the event welcomed children and caretakers from four orphanages—Padmasambhava Children Loving Association Klang Selangor, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Mary K.L, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ehsan Ash-Shakur, and Pertubuhan Pendidikan Anak-Anak Yatim Selangor—for a heartwarming day of entertainment, connection, and celebration.

This meaningful initiative was further strengthened with a generous RM10,000 donation from RMHC Malaysia to the participating homes, reaffirming the organisation’s enduring commitment to uplifting underprivileged children across the country. Adding to the festive atmosphere, McDonald’s Malaysia treated attendees to delicious meals after the screening and celebrated the birthdays of children born in April and May—creating a truly memorable experience for all.

The movie day out is part of McDonald’s global collaboration with Warner Bros. Entertainment, which highlights A Minecraft Movie as one of the key features for 2025. This initiative continues a long-standing tradition between RMHC Malaysia, McDonald’s Malaysia, and TGV Cinemas, which has seen hundreds of children enjoy exciting film outings in recent years. Past screenings included fan favorites like Minions: The Rise of Gru in 2022 and Despicable Me 4 in 2024. Collectively, more than 360 children have benefitted from these joyful experiences, many of whom might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy such moments.

Dato’ Haji Azmir Jaafar, President of RMHC Malaysia, emphasized the importance of creating opportunities like these: “Moments like these remind us of the importance of creating meaningful experiences for children, especially those who may not often have access to them. We are committed to supporting the well-being of underprivileged children in Malaysia, not just through our core programs, but also through special initiatives like this that bring smiles and joy.”

Beyond special events, RMHC Malaysia runs four core programs dedicated to improving the health and welfare of children in need—the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Sensory Room, Gift of Smile Program, and Back-to-School Program. These initiatives reflect the organisation’s holistic approach to supporting children and their families, ensuring long-term care and meaningful impact.

Established in 1990, RMHC Malaysia is a non-profit organisation dedicated to removing barriers to care, strengthening families, and promoting healing for children in need of medical attention. Over the past 34 years, RMHC Malaysia has touched the lives of more than 250,000 children through its efforts in health, education, and welfare, supported by over RM60 million in funding. These programmes are made possible through the generosity of the public, with donations collected via coin boxes at McDonald’s restaurants and contributions from corporate sponsors.
