Scheduled to premiere on April 26, 2024, at 9:00 pm, ‘RESTU‘ is the latest drama series from Asia’s leading streaming platform, iQIYI (pronounced eye-chee-yee). It promises to captivate global audiences with its engaging storyline and stellar casts, including Remy Ishak, Wanna Ali, Siti Elizad, Elizabeth Tan, and introducing newcomer, Puteri Rafasya. The series is produced in collaboration with Infinitus Production and directed by renowned local director, Heykal Hanafiah.

Set against the backdrop of contemporary Malaysia, RESTU tells the poignant story of Razak, portrayed by Remy Ishak, a single father navigating the challenges of parenthood following the loss of his wife, Julia. As Razak seeks a new companion, his daughter, Amy (played by Puteri Rafasya), sets forth three conditions for her approval, leading to a heartfelt journey of love, sacrifice, and familial bonds.
The creation of RESTU was a labour of love, taking two years to develop, he emphasised, “We spared no effort in crafting a storyline that resonates with local audiences while ensuring the highest production standards.
“Our meticulous casting process prioritised talent and versatility to deliver a compelling viewing experience.”
The premiere episode of RESTU on April 26, 2024 which coincides with the second week of Hari Raya will be available for free to all iQIYI app users, while subsequent episodes will require VIP subscription, free broadcast is accessible 48 hours after its release.
