After complaints on social media regarding the state of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium field, which appears to be destroyed, Johor Darul Ta’zim and Terengganu FC will play their final game on Friday.
The Bukit Jalil National Stadium is 90 percent ready to host the 2023 Malaysia Cup final this Friday, despite being bombarded with criticism and controversy over the quality of the pitch following pictures that went viral on social media.
The development was confirmed by an internal source at the Stadium Corporation of Malaysia (PSM) who informed that maintenance work, especially in the field section, has been carried out for the past two weeks in preparation for the final.
According to sources, PSM together with the Malaysian Football League (MFL) and several other parties conducted an inspection of the field surface to see the level of availability yesterday.
The 2023 Malaysia Cup final brings together three-time defending champion JDT and Terengganu FC who are chasing their second title after last winning it in 2001
