Vivo X300 Series Official Launch in Shanghai Sets New Standards for Smartphone Cameras

Vivo officially launched its new flagship X300 series in Shanghai yesterday, opening a new chapter in mobile imaging. Marking the brand’s 30th anniversary, the vivo X300 series sets a new benchmark as the “Dual Kings of 200 MP ZEISS Imaging.” With a focus on professional-grade photography, the series also delivers comprehensive improvements in performance, system experience, and design, offering users a refined and versatile flagship solution.

The vivo X300 Pro introduces a ZEISS APO 200 MP super telephoto system, while the vivo X300 features a ZEISS 200 MP super main camera. Both are powered by the Dimensity 9500 flagship platform and vivo’s in-house Blueprint imaging chip V3+, achieving industry-leading 4K video creation through dual-chip integration. The series is further enhanced by the Dimensity 9500’s Ultra-Efficient Imaging NPU, which boosts motion snapshot capabilities. In performance benchmarks, the vivo X300 Pro surpasses 4.1 million points in AnTuTu under room temperature conditions. Both models also debut with the all-new OriginOS 6, designed for exceptional fluidity and long-term performance.

At the launch, Huang Tao, Vice President of Product at vivo, reflected on the company’s 30-year journey, noting that its most rewarding achievement lies in the memories preserved in users’ photo albums. From landlines to music phones to today’s imaging flagships, vivo’s mission remains the same: to create excellent products and be a lasting companion for users. This philosophy is supported by vivo’s strategy of combining in-house R&D with collaborative partnerships to bring professional technologies into everyday use.

As the flagship of the series, the vivo X300 Pro redefines imaging with the all-new 85 mm 200 MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera, developed with Samsung, offering superior optics, stabilization, and ZEISS APO certification. It delivers millisecond-level motion tracking and 200 percent improvement in stability, making it particularly effective for long-range and fast-moving scenarios such as concerts and sporting events. The main camera features the Sony LYT-828 sensor with vivo’s VCS 3.0 technology, providing precise color rendition and gimbal-grade stability. With both telephoto and main cameras supporting 4K 120 fps Dual-Channel EIS, users can now produce cinematic Dolby Vision HDR videos without external equipment. For professionals, the device supports 10-bit Log video recording and an ACES workflow, putting cinematic-grade creative freedom into the hands of every user.

The vivo X300, designed as a compact flagship, brings pro-level imaging in a smaller form. Its 200 MP ZEISS main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and advanced stabilization enables high-resolution portraits and creative cropping. It also introduces new features such as AI One-Shot Multi-Crop and Live Photo Passerby Erase, enhancing both static and dynamic portrait photography. Night portrait capabilities are improved with adaptive lighting technology, ensuring natural skin tones even under complex lighting conditions.

In terms of design, the vivo X300 Pro features a slim 7.99 mm profile with a 6.78-inch display and refined curved edges, while the vivo X300 offers a more compact 6.31-inch flat screen and weighs just 190 g. Both adopt a unibody 3D glass design with Coral Velvet Glass Technique for a premium tactile and visual experience.

Powered by the co-developed Dimensity 9500 platform and vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, the series balances flagship performance with efficiency. Large-capacity BlueVolt batteries with silicon anode technology, combined with software-hardware optimizations, deliver superior endurance. Displays are equipped with ZEISS Master Color technology, high-frequency PWM dimming, and DC dimming for eye comfort, while flagship-level features such as IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanning, and USB 3.2 connectivity complete the premium experience.

To extend creative possibilities, vivo has also introduced ZEISS telephoto accessories and a Photography Kit compatible with all models in the series. Together, these enhancements ensure that the vivo X300 series redefines mobile imaging and solidifies vivo’s leadership in the next era of smartphone photography.
