    TAPAUFEST 2023 telah berlangsung di Tasik Raban Resort pada 7 dan 8 Oktober 2023

    Ribuan pencinta indie telah hadir ke Lenggong pada hujung minggu lalu untuk meraikan seni dan kreativiti berlatarkan tasik dan gunung di Tasik Raban Resort pada 7 dan 8 Oktober 2023. TAPAUfest edisi ke-6, anjuran TAPAUasia dan diadakan buat kali kedua masa di Lenggong, terbukti pengalaman yang tidak dapat dilupakan bagi yang hadir.

    Pengunjung festival boleh memilih untuk mengambil ‘roadtrip’ ke Lenggong dengan memandu atau menggunakan perkhidmatan bas atau kereta api ke Ipoh dan wakil dari Majlis Daerah Lenggong sedia menunggu untuk membawa pengunjung ke lokasi festival.

    Pintu mula dibuka pada 9 pagi bagi memberikan masa secukupnya untuk meneroka keajaiban semula jadi Lenggong yang memukau, antaranya di Lata Kekabu, atau menikmati secawan kopi di tepi sungai di Pio Kopi sebelum persembahan muzik di pentas PENTAS bermula pada jam 5 petang.

    Bagi mereka yang tak mahu meninggalkan tapak festival, Pasar Komuniti T3 (PASAR), dikurasi dan direka oleh kolektif seni Tingkat 3, menawarkan peluang untuk membeli barang dari seniman tempatan, menyertai bengkel seni dan DIY, menikmati persembahan DJ, atau melayan diri dengan servis gunting rambut dan urut kaki.

    Peserta festival juga diberi peluang istimewa menikmati persembahan DondangSayang dan Mak Yong yang autentik, dikurasi dengan penuh kasih oleh Kakiseni. Persembahan-persembahan ini, bersama dengan sesi kongsi termasuk tayangan di BENGKEL dan LAYAR, menambah dimensi budaya yang kaya di TAPAUfest.

    Sebelum persembahan muzik dimulakan, pengunjung boleh menikmati pelbagai juadah jalanan tempatan dari Lenggong dan seluruh Malaysia. Memastikan keaslian pengalaman WARUNG tanpa melibatkan stereotaip festival, semua makanan dan minuman bukan hanya lazat tapi harganya juga berpatutan.

    Tepat jam 5 petang, hos TAPAUfest, bintang lakonan Iedil Dzuhrie Alaudin dan Sharifah Amani, membuka tirai mengajak semua orang untuk berkumpul di PENTAS.

    Persembahan pertama dimulakan oleh kugiran “midwest emo”, Mascot yang membawakan persembahan sangat sesuai dengan angin kencang semulajadi dan tenaga penonton mereka.

    Seterusnya Rub of Rub dari Bandung muncul dengan muzik latar yang cukup sempurna untuk matahari yang sedang terbenam sambil memikat penonton dengan bunyi dub mereka. Ini merupakan persembahan sulung mereka di luar Indonesia.

    Setelah rehat Maghrib, duo elektronik Wobbebong mengembalikan semangat penonton dengan persembahan bertenaga berserta penampilan istimewa oleh rapper Hullera untuk lagu kegemaran penonton “Kereta Terbang”.

    Kugiran legenda Singapura, Force Vomit kemudiannya memulakan set mereka dengan lagu “Spaceman Over Malaysia”. Ini merupakan kali pertama mereka membuat persembahan di Perak sejak tahun 2004.

    Rock ‘n roll ‘Supergroup’, Jemson seterusnya mengambil alih pentas dengan persembahan yang sangat bertenaga. Bintang dan penyanyi, Naim Daniel turut membuat penampilan istimewa untuk lagu “Mula Semula.”

    Hari pertama TAPAUfest 2023 ditutup dengan persembahan menawan oleh Nadin Amizah dari Indonesia. Di bawah cahaya bulan di tepi tasik, Nadin menyampaikan persembahan selama 45 minit yang bermula dengan hit terbarunya, “Rayuan Perempuan Gila,” dan berakhir dengan seluruh penonton festival menyanyikan bersama “Sorak Sorai.”

    Hari kedua bermula seawal pada jam 7:45 pagi, dengan penonton berkumpul di tepi tasik berkabus untuk “Sesi Tikar Mengkuang“, yang menjemput peserta festival untuk merehatkan badan dan minda mereka melalui sesi regangan dan meditasi.

    Satu lagi elemen TAPAUfest yang kembali pada edisi tahun ini adalah “Rakyat Games” yang dihoskan oleh Leaism. Peserta boleh mengembalikan nostalgia di sekolah dengan bermain permainan klasik seperti “Tuju Selipar,” “Galah Panjang,” dan “Zero Point,” dengan peluang untuk memenangi hadiah dari Vans.

    Pentas hari kedua dimulakan oleh kugiran Mid-Tempo 70’s Punk asal Bogor, The Jansen yang terus menghidupkan pentas sambil dipenuhi peminat yang cukup teruja untuk menonton persembahan pertama mereka di Malaysia.

    Legenda tempatan dan pelopor indie, Muck, kemudiannya muncul di atas pentas, mempersembahkan 11 lagu termasuk “Where Only You Belong” dan anthem indie kegemaran ramai “Orang School”.

    Door Plant, kugiran indie pertama dari Thailand di TAPAUfest, memberikan kejutan manis kepada mereka yang ingin mencari muzik baru dengan penonton menari meskipuntanpa memahami sepatah perkataan dalam bahasa Thai. Hujan mula menitis ketikan Fikri dan kugirannya naik ke pentas mencipta suasana yang sempurna untuk bunyi neo-fol Bayangan.

    Hujan yang turun dengan lebatnya ketika persembahan Lomba Sihir dari Jakarta tidak melunturkan semangat malah menghidupkan semangat penonton untuk menyanyi dan menari dalam hujan sepanjang persembahan mereka.

    Zee Avi mengakhiri PENTAS dengan persembahan yang istimewa dengan menunjukkan bakatnya sebagai penulis lagu, pencerita dan pemuzik. Di antara lagu yang dipersembahkan adalah “Just As I Am,”, sebuah cover dari The Strollers, band legenda yang dianggap sebagai kugiran indie pertama dari Malaysia.

    Zee menutup malam dengan “Kantoi”, yang menjadi antara momen paling epik dalam sejarah TAPAUfest, dengan setiap orang di festival turut nyanyi bersama.

    Ketika pengunjung singgah di WARUNG bagi mengisi perut sebelum pulang, warga ‘campers’ kembali kawasan perkhemahan oleh Santuy Travellers untuk sesi “Bonfire Akustika” khas bersama Amir Jahari sebagai penutup TAPAUfest 2023 yang sebenar.

    “Kami berasa bahawa banyak memori-memori indah yang kekal sepanjang hayat tercipta menerusi pertemuan komuniti indie yang menjayakan TAPAUfest di Lenggong ini”, kata pengasas dan pengarah TAPAUfest, Ahmad Faris.

    “Kami juga ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada MyCreative Ventures dan Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital atas sokongan mereka dalam menjadikan acara ini menjadi realiti.”

    TAPAUfest 2023 adalah pengalaman festival oleh TAPAUasia dengan kerjasama Majlis Daerah Lenggong, Ipoh Social Club, Verssusika serta rakan rasmi Vans, Yoodo, Batik Air, Era, Gempak dan Syok.
