CelcomDigi Berhad (“CelcomDigi”) today unveiled the CelcomDigi app, the company’s new mobile app that unifies the best of two trusted apps – Celcom Life and MyDigi – into one powerful, secure digital experience for its customers. Developed in-house, the CelcomDigi app brings together everything customers need to take control of their digital lifestyle. It introduces new features that provide elevated convenience, easy access to more value-added services, always-on support and rewards, all within a secure, intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
The launch of the CelcomDigi app marks a major milestone in CelcomDigi’s post-merger integration and transformation journey to deliver superior customer experiences. The app, which replaces the current Celcom Life and MyDigi apps, represents the final and most critical piece in CelcomDigi’s brand unification efforts. Over the past three years, the company has made strong progress in establishing a single, unified CelcomDigi brand across its product and service offerings, retail touchpoints and online store, all supported by Malaysia’s widest, fastest and most secure network. Going forward, the new app, serving over 20 million customers, will become the primary digital touchpoint for seamless and personalised digital experiences at scale, reinforcing CelcomDigi’s commitment to building a truly integrated, customer-first journey.
CelcomDigi’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Albern Murty, shared that this launch is the company’s representation of its commitment to being customer-obsessed. He explained that the new app combines the best of both existing apps, enhanced with new service features and layered with AI technology for support and security. This allows customers to have full control over their digital services and connectivity needs in the palm of their hands. Murty added that this reflects CelcomDigi’s approach to reimagining customer engagement, placing them at the centre of every interaction and driving the next wave of growth and value.
The CelcomDigi app was shaped by real insights from over 10 million customers and refined through feedback from more than 100,000 beta testers. It has been designed around three key themes. The first is everyday convenience, which focuses on addressing customer pain points by simplifying tasks and elevating convenience. For example, the “Everything in One” feature allows multiple lines and services to be managed within a single app, while “Auto-Reload Magic” ensures prepaid customers’ lines stay active without running out of credit.
The second theme is digital lifestyle, built-in. This makes the app stand out by incorporating features beyond calls and data. Customers can enjoy value-added services such as streaming entertainment like Disney+ and Viu, as well as smarter travel with roaming pre-booking that connects instantly upon arrival. Security features are also integrated, including biometric sign-in, one-device protection, and eKYC verification.
The third theme is creating delightful moments. This includes support, rewards, and gamified features that enhance the customer experience. With AI-RA, the app’s AI-powered support system, customers have access to always-on help. They can also enjoy interactive features like “Daily Streak,” a seven-day challenge to unlock rewards, and “3-2-1 Surprise,” offering free rewards every Wednesday. Additionally, the “For You” feature personalises the experience by learning customer habits, providing tailored suggestions based on preferences and usage.
In line with its digital safety commitment, CelcomDigi has made online protection accessible to all through the app. A dedicated Safety page provides practical tools and insights, allowing customers to report scam incidents quickly. MobileSHIELD is also available directly within the app at RM4 per month, offering defence against scams, malicious apps, and privacy threats. This complements other security products introduced by CelcomDigi such as WebSHIELD, e-Sim, and Private Sim.
To celebrate the launch, CelcomDigi is offering exclusive rewards for app users. These include 100GB of high-speed data for only RM1, with unlimited purchase available for one million passes. Customers can also enjoy special streaming rates, such as Disney+ Basic at RM12.90 per month, Disney+ Premium at RM27.90 per month, and Viu at RM3.90 per month. Postpaid customers are entitled to free roaming and IDD calls for 12 months.
Celcom Life and MyDigi users are encouraged to migrate to the new app immediately, as both apps will be discontinued on 31 December 2025. The CelcomDigi app is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
