    RMHC Malaysia and McDonald’s Malaysia Light Up Children’s Day with Special Minecraft Movie Experience. Ronald McDonald House Charities Malaysia (RMHC Malaysia), in collaboration with McDonald’s Malaysia, recently brought joy and excitement to over 160 underprivileged children through a special movie screening of A Minecraft Movie on 3 May 2025. Held at TGV Cinemas, Jaya Shopping Centre, the event welcomed children and caretakers from four orphanages—Padmasambhava Children Loving Association Klang Selangor, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Mary K.L, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ehsan Ash-Shakur, and Pertubuhan Pendidikan Anak-Anak Yatim Selangor—for a heartwarming day of entertainment, connection, and celebration.

    This meaningful initiative was further strengthened with a generous RM10,000 donation from RMHC Malaysia to the participating homes, reaffirming the organisation’s enduring commitment to uplifting underprivileged children across the country. Adding to the festive atmosphere, McDonald’s Malaysia treated attendees to delicious meals after the screening and celebrated the birthdays of children born in April and May—creating a truly memorable experience for all.

    The movie day out is part of McDonald’s global collaboration with Warner Bros. Entertainment, which highlights A Minecraft Movie as one of the key features for 2025. This initiative continues a long-standing tradition between RMHC Malaysia, McDonald’s Malaysia, and TGV Cinemas, which has seen hundreds of children enjoy exciting film outings in recent years. Past screenings included fan favorites like Minions: The Rise of Gru in 2022 and Despicable Me 4 in 2024. Collectively, more than 360 children have benefitted from these joyful experiences, many of whom might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy such moments.

    Established in 1990, RMHC Malaysia is a non-profit organisation dedicated to removing barriers to care, strengthening families, and promoting healing for children in need of medical attention.     Musica Fest 2025 bakal menggamatkan Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur pada 16 November 2025 dengan barisan pemuzik popular dari Indonesia yang menjanjikan persembahan pelbagai genre penuh warna. Acara ini dianjurkan oleh Shiraz Projects dengan kolaborasi bersama label muzik terkemuka, Musica, dan pemilihan nama “Musica Fest” sendiri mencerminkan kepelbagaian irama serta rentak muzik yang bakal dipersembahkan. Barisan artis yang akan menghangatkan pentas terdiri daripada kumpulan ternama seperti Nidji, D’Masiv dan Geisha, serta dua bintang muda berbakat besar, Shakira Jasmine dan Steven Pasaribu, yang masing-masing mewakili generasi baharu industri muzik Indonesia.

    Menurut pengasas Shiraz Projects, Shirazdeen Karim, kelima-lima pemuzik ini dipilih secara teliti sebagai gabungan yang tepat dan mantap demi memberikan pengalaman muzik terbaik kepada peminat.     Tujuh Filem Hebat Bertanding di FFM Ke-33 Festival Filem Malaysia Ke-33!

    Sebanyak tujuh filem cereka layak bertanding dalam kategori Filem Terbaik pada Festival Filem Malaysia (FFM) Ke-33, menandakan kualiti tinggi dan persaingan sengit dalam industri filem tempatan tahun ini. Filem-filem yang berjaya tersenarai dalam kategori ini termasuk Imaginur, Abang Adik, Sheriff: Narko Integriti, Rain Town, Duan Nago Bogho, Mechamato Movie, dan Hungry Ghost Diner. Menurut Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif (CEO) Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional Malaysia (FINAS), Datuk Azmir Saifuddin Mutalib, keputusan untuk memilih tujuh filem tersebut adalah hasil penilaian teliti oleh barisan juri, yang berpendapat setiap filem memiliki kekuatan tersendiri.

    Azmir menjelaskan bahawa, walaupun kebiasaannya hanya lima filem yang dipilih untuk kategori ini, persaingan tahun ini sangat sengit sehingga keputusan dibuat untuk menambah dua lagi filem. “Kami menerima lebih daripada 100 pencalonan tahun ini, dan saingan dalam kategori Filem Terbaik semakin hebat, dengan beberapa filem memperoleh pengiktirafan antarabangsa dan kutipan tiket yang tinggi,” katanya.

    Antara filem yang menonjol termasuk Abang Adik yang diarahkan oleh Jin Ong, serta Imaginur yang diterajui oleh Nik Amir Mustapha. Kedua-dua filem ini menerima pencalonan terbanyak dalam pelbagai kategori. Imaginur, misalnya, mendominasi 15 daripada 24 pencalonan, manakala Abang Adik memenangi pengiktirafan di beberapa festival luar negara, memberikan kelebihan tambahan dalam persaingan.

    Barisan juri FFM 33 dilaporkan berhadapan dengan cabaran besar untuk memilih pemenang, kerana kualiti setiap filem yang bertanding adalah sangat tinggi. Azmir juga menekankan bahawa setiap filem yang tersenarai dalam kategori Filem Terbaik sudah dianggap sebagai pemenang, dengan pengaruh dan impaknya yang besar terhadap industri.

    Pada masa yang sama, Azmir menegaskan bahawa ketelusan dalam proses penjurian adalah sangat penting, dan FINAS akan memastikan panel juri yang terlibat mempunyai peluang untuk meningkatkan pengalaman mereka dengan menjadi juri di peringkat antarabangsa. Ini adalah usaha untuk memberi mereka pendedahan yang lebih luas dalam dunia filem global.

    Menjelang malam kemuncak FFM 33 yang dijadualkan pada Sabtu ini, Azmir menyatakan bahawa persiapan berjalan lancar dan turut memberi penekanan terhadap keselamatan semasa musim banjir. “Selain meraikan pencapaian dalam industri seni, kami juga akan memberikan tumpuan kepada pentingnya keselamatan dan mengingatkan penonton untuk menjaga keluarga mereka semasa bencana banjir,” katanya.
